But what kind of a wedding are you planning?
With ten years experience and a background in photographic art I love a wedding that excites me creatively, a wedding in which, once all the formalities are complete, I can sneak around unobtrusively photographing the unique and beautiful moments that shape your day.
Handmade, relaxed, informal, friendly, vintage, artistic… from tiny gatherings to huge raucous celebrations, a ceremony inspired by a balmy summer evening in the woods beneath a canopy of sparkling white fairy lights, exchanging vows on a crisp autumn morning, vintage decorations thrifted with friends or rescued from a relatives' attic, homemade cake, diy stationary, a delicate scalloped edged vintage lace dress, fresh wildflowers, beautiful gardens, natural settings, elegant lakeside buffets, handmade hairpieces, bridesmaids in converse and cowboy boots... these are the things which excite and inspire me in wedding photography. But of course, while you can feel confident letting me loose to do my own thing I am more than happy to help you interpret any style ideas you may already have. Ultimately my main goal is to create pictures which emphasise your own personal quirks & fancies… are these the kinds of things that are important to you while planning your wedding? If so, I think we'll get along like a house on fire!
I love to work with couples with positive attitudes, a fabulous party spirit and a sense of what is important on their big (or small!) day. If this sounds like you and your partner I would love to hear from you so please do get in touch, regardless of your location.
